Basics of Visual Search Engine

What is Visual Search Engine?

Everyone is familiar with what search engines are. These are your basic search tools that many of you use everyday. For instance, one of the most popular search engines on the Internet is Google.

Basically, a search engine is a tool that you can use to look up any information that you want, as long as the information is available.  You type in the words or phrases you want to look up, press enter, and the information you wanted is on your computer screen.

Well, what if I told you there is a new way of searching? What if I told you that you can now utilize the search engine: with an image recognition?

“A Visual Search Engine is a search engine designed to search for information on the World Wide Web through the input of an image or a search engine with a visual display of the search result.”

How many times have you wanted to know the name of something(a car, for instance), but you had no tools to look up what that is or knew anyone for the answer? With visual search engine solutions, such as Slyce, you can find your answer in matter of seconds.

Slyce, the industry leading visual search engine solution, offers a way to utilize the visual search engine function. Now that people have access to cameras and Internet anywhere with the rise of smartphones, Slyce has developed a way to maximize the technology by allowing people to take a picture of an object and search the image directly on the Internet.

With Slyce, you can now just take a picture of the car on your phone and use the visual search function to look up the model of the car.

  1. So going back to the car example, let’s say you run across this amazing looking car. You want to know the name of the model. It is like a library, but you do not have to physically look for the information. This is the issue with superiorpaper and that has been acclaimed for a long time.
