Prostate cancer is common with men who are in their retirement age, 60 years and older. As such, the average age for most men with this disease currently stands at 66. There are a number of politicians that have been diagnosed with this condition before. For instance, the Colin Powell, who is also the former secretary of state, underwent treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Another key example is Mitt Romney who was running as a Republican presidential nominee. He also was operated on and has fully recovered. He is currently hoping to replace Orrin Hatch, the senator representing Utah.
Most studies recommend that patients consider surgery as their first option as opposed to radiation. This is because patients who undergo surgery tend to recover much faster than those who had radiation treatment. As such, the probability of death for those who underwent radiation is twice that of surgery patients. Besides, if a patient chooses radiation treatment but the cancer ends up spreading to other parts, it becomes extremely difficult to treat it. There are many cases where radiation treatment has been highly related to secondary cancer formations such as rectal cancer and bladder cancer.

It is easy to get lost in the world of dating apps these days if you are single, and sometimes even when you are not. The dating applications itself are so fascinating that spending time on it is just like surfing social media websites, which they are in a way. However, the problem with most of the dating applications or sites these days is men primarily dominate them, and the feature it has gives the men, an added advantage over women. It is a kind of dominance that many women might not want to go through. Women are equal to men in today’s date and have been so for years. However, with the wave of awareness and the feminism revolution has made the somewhat distorted line around feminism disappear in the past few years.
While many dating sites and applications have been working fine for some of the women, there was always a void that could have been filled with a dating app that is designed around the needs of women. It is what Bumble became when it was launched in 2014. Currently, Bumble is valued at over $1 billion and has more than 18 million members in more than ten countries. The number of members Bumble has been increasing with every passing day, and recently, Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder, and CEO of Bumble, even turned down an offer from the dating giant, Match.com. Whitney Wolfe Herd is also the co-founder of Tinder and has a good experience of how the dating applications worked. It is this experience she used constructively to start Bumble after she left Tinder.
However, Bumble was more focused on women as felt there were a few things which can be tweaked to make the women happier with the dating applications. Whitney Wolfe Herd has featured on the cover of many famous magazines, including the Forbes, WiredUK, and the Fast Company. She has also been listed in the 30 under 30 list by Forbes, which is published every year and has been one of the women in the list of tech women entrepreneurs by the famous Elle’s magazine.Whitney Wolfe Herd wants to make it easier for the women to find the date for them, and get a selection of men they can feel safer hanging out with. Bumble has strong verification requirements, and men can only contact women after the women have decided to contact men first. It is such criteria that make Bumble, a very satisfying dating app for women.
Ever since Amazon started becoming a major retailer in the ecommerce world, its been said they’re the unbeatable giant that’s ushering in the end of brick and mortar retailers aside from Walmart, and is going to forever change how business is done. But one company that seems to be able to take Amazon to task is Fabletics, a fashion company owned by celebrity Kate Hudson and originally based online but now also has physical stores. What’s usually been the trend with buying things on Amazon is shoppers might go to a physical store, look at an item they want and then instead of buying it at the store, they’ll get it cheaper on Amazon and cost the physical store money. But Fabletics is able to do the opposite by customizing user outfits, and since most people like to try apparel on before buying it, their website and app has a way of encouraging customers to visit the store to get their apparel, otherwise known as “reverse showroom.”
If you’re familiar with Kate Hudson, the first things that might come to mind are the movies she’s starred in including “Almost Famous,” “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,” “Fools Gold” and “Bride Wars.” But one of her passions is always getting exercise and proudly being about in athleisure wear. It wasn’t long ago that she met up with two fashion entrepreneurs Adam Goldenberg and Don Ressler who had previously been with MySpace but were making their niche in the women’s fashion industry by starting a company that sold various apparel at low prices without a middleman. They also saw a void in the women’s athletic wear area for low-priced items like yoga outfits and jogging gear. They wanted this new brand to marketed by someone women could trust, and Kate Hudson was just all too happy to become the owner of Techstyle Fashion Group’s subsidiary.
Hudson teamed up with Gregg Throgmartin to not only roll out Fabletics’s designs but also to use a marketing strategy that sells not only the product itself but the shopping experience, something many younger shoppers look for. What likely attracts women to Fabletics is that its apparel is all-inclusive for women of all sizes, and most of them could say there’s a feeling of empowerment when they wear a Fabletics outfit. More so, there’s VIP membership which members can opt in or out of, but it lets them build up membership credits and earn even more discounts when they purchase or refer people.
