Educational symposiums bring together experts and faculty from around the world to share their knowledge and the latest techniques. Dr. Rod Rohrich has already served as the chair of over 100 plastic surgery symposiums on national and international levels. In the first quarter of 2018 alone he will be chairing and organizing 2 and heavily involved in another.
The board certified plastic surgeon with an abundance of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery will be participating in several panels at Baker Gordon Educational Symposium. This event will be the 52nd annual symposium and will be held in Miami, Florida from February 8th through the 10th. Rohrich will be conducting a rhinoplasty live for the attendees and moderating 2 panels: Elegant Outcomes in Body Contour Surgery and Pragmatic Solutions in Lower Lid Blepharoplasty.
Following this event from the dates of February 28 to March 3, the 2 events that Dr. Rod Rohrich is organizing will be taking place. These symposiums, the Annual Global Dallas Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine Meeting and the Dallas Rhinoplasty Meetings, feature cadaver labs that provide hands on experience to the participants and will also be used in presentations on surgery techniques. Rohrich will be featured in one of these presentations that showcase him performing a facelift for an educational video. The 2018 Medicine Meeting will the 21st annual meeting and the Rhinoplasty Meeting the 35th.
Dr. Rod Rohrich is scheduled to moderate the 4 discussion panels about different aspects of aesthetic plastic surgery during the Medicine Meeting including the Innovations and Controversies in Cosmetic Medicine – What Really Works! panel as well as moderating several more. The Rhinoplasty Meeting will likewise feature Rohrich’s moderation for several panels and he will be giving multiple lectures.
Dr. Rod Rohrich received his medical education through the Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Michigan. His fellowship in plastic surgery with additional training in hand surgery was completed through Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts General Hospital He has also lent his time and talent to the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery which provides reconstructive surgery to breast cancer survivors after single or double mastectomies. He has been a board certified plastic surgeon at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center since 1986. Click here
