End Citizens United: Preparing For The 2018 Elections

The 2018 United States general elections are only a few months ahead, and a political group named End Citizens United recently released a statement on how they wanted the upcoming elections to be transparent and free of big money. They also released a list of politicians whom they accuse of being corrupt, and they stated that they will be targeting them so that they would never win their positions back. End Citizens United referred to these politicians as “Big Money 20”, and they added how these Republican politicians are favoring their own agendas and leaving their constituents behind. They are accusing these politicians of accepting bribes and donations in exchange of supporting or opposing a particular legislation. The following politicians are included in the infamous list released by End Citizens United: Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Nevada Senator Dean Heller, House Speaker Paul Ryan from Wisconsin, Michigan Representative Mike Bishop, Iowa Representative Rod Blum, Illinois Representative Mike Bost, Colorado Representative Mike Coffman, Pennsylvania Representative Ryan Costello, New Jersey Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen, California Representative Duncan Hunter, Texas Representative Will Hurd, California Representative Darrell Issa, New Jersey Representative Tom McArthur, Pennsylvania Representative Pat Meehan, Minnesota Representative Erik Paulsen, North Carolina Representative Rob Pittenger, California Representative Dana Rohrbacher, Illinois Representative Peter Roskam, New York Representative Claudia Tenney, and California Representative Mimi Walters.

End Citizens United warned the public against voting for those who made it to the Big Money 20 list, and the executive director of the organization, Tiffany Muller, even referred to them as the worst people to serve the government. According to Tiffany Muller, End Citizens United has been raising money to prevent the re-election of those who made it to their list. The organization has more than 3 million members, and each member can donate up to $5,000. Based on the latest count of the organization, End Citizens United has already raised $4 million, and their target is at $35 million. According to End Citizens United, most Americans are supporting them of their causes, and they also revealed how most of the Americans wanted to get rid of big money politics. End Citizens United promised those who are supporting them of their causes that the government of the United States will start listening to them if they successfully block the re-election of those who are in the Big Money 20 list.

End Citizens United was established in 2015, as a response to the growing skepticism over the validity and the legitimacy of the United States Presidential Elections. The group wanted to change the political system in the United States today, which favors the rich and the wealthy. The people behind End Citizens United are pushing for the reversal of the United States Supreme Court decision which gives the rich and the wealthy to gain massive control of American politics.
